Bikies still face prosecution after handing in their colours

Creevey Russell Lawyers principal Dan Creevey said around 20 bikie members had quit in the last week to avoid jail, sending in their colours and signing affidavits on their resignation but have been told by police that doesn’t satisfy them they aren’t members of a club. Mr Creevey said the legislation doesn’t provide any guidance on the matter and has called on the Attorney General Jarrod Bleijie to explain. He said they are all afraid to be seen together in public and have had police waiting for them to walk outside and search their vehicles.
