Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
This week on "Protis Reviews" will focus on Alan's experience at BIGSOUND 2026. This was his fifth year attending the event, but his first doing media and content creation. It was a lot of hard work, but all in all it was definitely worth it! Alan also conducted a few interviews on-site at what was called Content House, but featured on tonight's show will be the artists and bands that he saw perform at the various venues in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley during BIGSOUND week.
